Music Search

It's getting late so this is a quickie about a site I just found while reading some of the wired news. A website called musipedia has a search engine that allows you to search through their music database by whistling at a java applet. For those of us who are less talented, you can also use a piano keyboard, or type individual notes in a box. I can't try it right now without waking people up, but looks cool.

If you don't already have a copy of Sun's java plugins installed (chances are pretty good that you do) you can get them here, using some nice, fairly automated installers. Or here for the developer/geek versions.

Go make some music, and Search!!
